This evening Rescue 61 was alerted for a vehicle accident at the Hopewell and Shrewsbury Township lines on Wolfe Road.
Chief 54 (Walker) arrived on scene and advised of a single vehicle into a bridge abutment, including 2 patients. The accident was found to be in Shrewsbury Township and Rescue 61 would handle. Fire Police from Stewartstown assisted the units from Shrewsbury with traffic control.
The vehicle struck a split rail fence which punctured through the engine compartment and into the passenger compartment.
Two patients were treated (by Ambulance 54) and released at the scene.
