The Auxiliary is a part of the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company, their purpose is to support and help where ever necessary.
Fundraising is a very important and much needed part of the Fire Company. The ladies help by doing banquets, providing the food stand at the annual fire company carnival, holding a yearly basket bingo, and are available to help with any fundraising activity that may be organized. The Auxiliary is also there to prepare meals for the firefighters, when they are out on a long call; this meal is prepared at a seconds notice and is always appriciated by the firefighters.
Anyone 14 years or older is welcome to join the Auxiliary. The Auxiliary meets at the fire hall the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. If you have questions or would like information, please contact the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company at 717-235-4476 and ask to have an Auxiliary member contact you.
